How It Works – KodeFile Enterprise

> HIW: KodeFile · KodeFile Enterprise · Enterprise Circles

• A business or organization registers a KodeFile Enterprise account. KodeFile creates a Main-Circle for storing the Enterprise's keys.

• Enterprises invite any KodeFile member to be their Agent and encrypt their Enterprise's files.

• Every Agent is a member of the Main-Circle and can be organized into Inner-Circles with membership and key restrictions.

• Encrypt file. KodeFile generates a secret key and encrypts.  Agents designate a Circle (Main-Circle or Inner-Circle) to be the Key Owner.

• Agents store and share the Enterprise files. KodeFile stores the keys. KodeFile never possesses, stores or shares the files.

• Share key. Circle keys are automatically available to its Circle membership. No need to share keys with fellow Circle members. Share keys with other Confidants.

• Decrypt file. If the key is shared, KodeFile sends the secret key to their app and decrypts. If the key is not shared, decryption is denied.
